Q: Lead in a home garden?
Hi. I thought it would be fun for the kids to have a little garden out back. I was talking with one of my parents' friends, though, and she suggested I have the soil checked for lead. Is this really necessary? If so, what does this cost? And, more importantly, what do I need to do if the soil tests positive? Is the fix expensive or hard? Should I just scrap the idea if there is lead in the soil?
