Q: White or oak finished trim in house built in 1937?
We had a flood on first floor of our home (1930s Cape style). Basically gutted entire first floor and decided to remodel kitchen, living room and dining room. Trying to figure out if we should replace trim with white or oak finish. leaning towards white trim and doors in kitchen (cabinets will be white). Upstairs is still original oak trim. should we go with oak trim in living room and dining room to match upstairs? or white. This is not our forever home.
