Q: When remodeling; should you replace your countertops before or after refinishing existing cabinets?


Replacing ceramic tile in kitchen and a one piece countertop and sink in bathrooms with quartz. The cabinets will be stained and varnished.

I would finish the cabinets first, then remove the top. Install the new top and then the backsplash.
