Adam your right. Santos Mahogany flooring is beautiful. The light sensitive issue is something that worries many remodelers whom are looking to lay a long term investment in their home. Santos Mahogany will darken over time. It is light sensitive. Like many exotic species such as Andiroba and Brazilian Cherry the amount of light the floor is exposed to will determine how dark the floor will get. Eventually the darkness will become more uniform.
