Q: At our coop preschool we're looking for some kind of surface on wood floors that will hold up to heavy "kids" traffic.
We are part of a coop preschool, we had the floors resurfaced last year and they are already worn out. We are looking for some kind of coating that will hold up to kids running around. Also, the floor does get a bit sandy due to sand boxes in one of the rooms. We sweep everyday but still sand is there so we know that it's tough. Do you have any suggestions? Should we resurface like it was a gym floor with polyurethane?
