Q: How big does a closet have to be for a bedroom addition?


I am adding a new bedroom onto the back of my home. I have been informed that I will need to install a closet in order for me to claim this room as a bedroom. Is there a standard size that the closet has to be in order to classify it as a bedroom or can it be a tiny storage closet or something? I'm looking to save as much money as possible, so I guess I am wondering what I can get away with here.
